The award-winning, phenomenal Irish performer and one of the most celebrated figures on the European music and theatre scene comes to Cyprus for the first time with a great performance
More Information
With this love letter written in song, Camille pays tribute to her dear friend Shane MacGowan, Sinéad O’Connor, David Bowie, Radiohead, Jacques Brel, Nick Cave and many others. Chameleon-like on stage, she transforms herself in each song into a different character, each with a story of its own to tell.
Together with her long-time collaborator Feargal Murray, she has created an intimate, heartfelt show, with a little bit of joyful, mad chaos, as her life unravels, capturing the honest response to those much loved and lost.
The Daily Telegraph named Loveletter one of the “25 Greatest Performances of All Time” on the BBC programme Later… with Jools Holland, while the BBC has dubbed Camille O’Sullivan the “Queen of the Edinburgh Festival”. Her sold-out, spellbinding performances around the world, including appearances at the Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall and the Roundhouse, have been acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. She received the prestigious Herald Angel Award for her solo performance in the RSC production of The Rape of Lucrece.
Camille has toured with The Pogues, appeared as a guest artist at Yoko Ono’s and Richard Thompson’s Meltdown festivals at the Royal Festival Hall, and was one of the original stars of the Olivier Award-winning neo-cabaret production La Clique. Before embarking on her singular career as a performer, she distinguished herself as an architect – most recently receiving the RIAI Architecture Award 2025 – and as a painter. Born in London to a French mother and an Irish-English father, she grew up in a village in Cork, Ireland, listening to the eclectic record collection of her parents and sisters, which played a defining role in shaping her unique artistic identity and interpretive style.
Dark, sensual, fierce, funny and mesmerizing, Camille transforms every song she performs into an intense emotional and theatrical experience not to be missed.
Expect joy and pure passion!
